JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Licenses: Active Arizona Medical License, Active DEA with AZ address
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ACLS (AHA) or ATLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year hospitalist experience preferred; new graduates considered with Medical Director approval
Other Qualifications: Clinical activity logs for previous 24 months; CME certificates or summary for previous 2 years; comfortable reading own EKGs
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive hospitalist care including admissions, rounding, and discharges.
Manage day and night shifts as part of a 7-on/7-off block schedule.
Perform patient encounters and manage average 66 patients per 24-hour period.
Handle nocturnist duties including admitting 7-9 patients per night.
Collaborate with ICU and other departments as needed.
