Gastroenterologist Hospitalist opening in Chicago, ILLocated in Chicago, IL Full-time (No part-time or locums available)Hospital-EmployedNo 2027 Grads Overview: Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist Inpatient-focused GI Hospitalist role with no outpatient clinic responsibilities Join a high-performing, multidisciplinary team Modern facility with strong procedural volume Excellent work-life balance in a hospital-based setting Clinical Details: Provide inpatient consultative GI care for acute gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions Perform high-volume endoscopic procedures including EGD and colonoscopy Focus exclusively on inpatient care Collaborate with hospitalists and specialty teams Participate in inpatient coverage and care coordination Compensation & Benefits: Base salary range: $600,000 - $650,000 plus productivity incentives Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage Retirement plan CME allowance and paid time off Malpractice provided Relocation assistance available Requirements: MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Eligible for Illinois medical license Strong procedural and inpatient experience preferred
