Job description Location: Cortez, Colorado
24 hour shift coverage
Details: ICU Beds: 4
Acute Beds: 13
Swing Beds: average 4/utilize within the 13 medsurg acute bed
Acuity: Variable, Pneumonia, Sepsis, Weakness, DKA, Resp failure
Volume: Max census: 20 (including Family birthing unit of 3 rooms)
Minimum census: 2-4
Average daily census: 8
Average weekly admissions: 12-20 approx.
Average daily discharges: 1-4
Average LOS: Med Surg: 4 days
2025 (10 months ended October Total Med/Surg: 5
ICU: 2
OBs (combined with med/surg & ICU): 1
Swing: 3
2024 - 11 totalMed/Surg: 5
ICU: 2
OBs (combined with med/surg & ICU): 1

EMR: Cerner
Onsite Subspeciality Support: General Surgery, Anesthesia, Ortho, Podiatry, 24/7 OB Coverage
Experience + Qualifications: New grads welcome (board certified or board eligible)

Compensation and Benefits: Standard:1900/shift - base
$100/shift - travel
$600/shift - PEDS coverage
