Hospitalist Physician Locum Tenens Job in Cottonwood, Arizona Locum tenens Hospitalist Physician opportunity in Cottonwood, AZ: provide night coverage in a supportive inpatient hospital setting with subspecialty backup, resident support, and a collaborative care team.
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a locum tenens assignment in the beautiful Cottonwood, Arizona area. Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days

Job Requirements Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Active Arizona medical license or IMLC eligibility
DEA required
BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist or inpatient experience required
Comfortable working in a hospital-based inpatient environment
Experience with Cerner preferred
Responsibilities Provide night hospitalist coverage and cross-cover an average of 40-50 patients
Respond to patient needs and support code response when appropriate for assigned patients
Collaborate with ICU, subspecialty services, residents, and rapid response teams
Deliver high-quality inpatient care with minimal procedural requirements
Document accurately and maintain timely medical records in Cerner
Participate in required Cerner training and orientation before start
Work effectively within a team-focused, patient-centered hospital environment
