Job Details Employment Type: Locum tenens physician job Specialty: Hospitalist Physician Setting: Hospital / Inpatient Care Location: Flagstaff, Arizona 86001 Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night coverage Shift Duration: 8-hour nights Schedule: 40 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,310 - $6,760 EMR: Cerner Patient Volume: Approximately 20-30 patients per day as a collective service Facility Type: Closed ICU environment Job Requirements Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist or inpatient physician experience required Active Arizona medical license or IMLC LOQ in hand DEA certification required ACLS certification required Experience with Cerner preferred Ability to provide strong inpatient coverage in a fast-paced hospital setting Responsibilities Provide hospitalist coverage for admissions and cross coverage on night shifts Accept and manage admissions as part of a collaborative inpatient medicine team Cross-cover hospitalized patients outside of the ICU as needed Work closely with the intensivist team for ICU-related admission acceptance in a closed ICU environment Deliver timely, high-quality care for adult and mixed-age inpatient populations Maintain accurate documentation and follow established Cerner workflows Support safe, efficient patient flow in a busy acute care hospital Apply now for this Flagstaff, Arizona hospitalist locum tenens opportunity and join a dedicated healthcare team delivering high-quality inpatient care.
