We have diverse clinicians from various geographic, educational, and training backgrounds, all of whom possess strong clinical acumen and an unwavering commitment to exceptional patient care.

Within work hours, we’re a dedicated and hardworking group; outside work, we foster strong interpersonal connections by spending quality time together.

We have created an environment conducive to flexibility and innovation for experienced clinicians.

Frederick Memorial Hospital values its clinical staff by offering free parking and a comfortable lounge area for socializing with fellow hospital providers and enjoying meals. We provide full subspecialty support.

Our clinical performance nurses assist you in providing a high-quality patient care experience.

We are fortunate to have other Sound Physicians' teams covering the Critical Care Unit and Emergency Room.

Qualifications:

Board-certified in internal medicine or family medicine.

Hospitalist experience required.

Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

Full-time position follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.

The day position is 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (11 hours), with 1 team member staying until 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

The day Hospitalist performs rounding and discharges. There are two dedicated admitters, so you can concentrate on taking care of your patients.

We hold daily MDRs and do geographic rounding as much as possible.

Our hospitalist team plays a pivotal role in the rapid response team, and the intensivist team manages codes.

We hold weekly huddles and monthly team meetings, in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions, to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital and with Sound.

We work in Meditech Expanse, a web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform.
