Job description
Role: Hospitalist Physician providing locums support in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities include: Covering various 12-hour shifts, managing a total census of 53 patients per shift, supervising advanced practitioners, and performing standard procedures using the EPIC EMR system.
Qualifications and Skills: Active California medical license, DEA registration, Board Certified or eligible, BLS and ACLS certifications.
Key Duties: Deliver comprehensive patient care, ensure effective supervision, and adhere to hospital protocols.
Additional Details: Credentialing takes 60-90 days; support includes malpractice insurance and assistance with travel and lodging arrangements.
