Job description
A physician-owned medical group in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join its inpatient team. This position offers a 7 on/7 off schedule, a round-and-go model, minimal call responsibilities, and a practice focused on inpatient medicine without procedures or code team duties.

Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients
Develop and implement treatment plans
Review medical histories, laboratory data, and diagnostic studies
Document patient encounters and care plans
Coordinate care with consulting physicians and clinical staff
Communicate treatment plans and recommendations with patients and families
Participate in multidisciplinary patient care activities
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for Texas medical licensure
DEA registration
BLS and ACLS certifications as required
Hospital medicine experience preferred
