Job description
TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible hospital medicine physician to join our hospitalist program at Baptist Health - Brookwood Hospital in Homewood, Alabama, just outside of Birmingham.

What You'll Do
Provide direct inpatient care, including daily rounding, admissions and discharge planning
Coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary teamsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital performance goals
Contribute to clinical documentation and patient communication using the hospital's EMR
Qualifications
MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM)
Strong clinical skills with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care
Unrestricted Alabama medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
