Palm Beach County, Florida - Hospitalist Medical Director Job

Please ask about our generous referral feesPermanent, full-time employed positionSeeking a board certified or truly board eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine hospitalistMedical Director role - prior leadership experience requiredReason for need: physician resignationDaily census ranges from 60-90No procedures requiredNo codes or rapid responses (covered by intensivist team)Intensivist group in-house 24/7 managing ICU, rapids, stroke alerts, and codesApproximately 70-75% clinical and 25-30% administrative responsibilitiesDedicated administrative time includedMonday-Friday daytime schedule Leadership & Program Overview: Oversee daily operations of the hospitalist programManage a team of 12 physicians plus APPsDevelop and implement clinical protocols and quality initiativesCoordinate with hospital leadership and other departmentsFocus on patient flow, efficiency, and resource utilizationMentor providers and ensure regulatory compliance Practice Setting: Community hospital ( 250 beds)Established hospitalist team: 10 daytime physicians, 2 nocturnists, plus APP supportEMR: EPIC Qualifications: MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineActive, unrestricted Florida medical licensePrior hospitalist leadership/directorship experience requiredStrong leadership, organizational, and team management skillsNo visa sponsorship available Organization Information: Employed position with full benefits35 days PTOCME allowanceHealth, vision, and dental insuranceHSA403(b) retirement planCompetitive compensation (discussed directly with client) Area Information - Palm Beach County, Florida: Palm Beach County offers a high quality of life with beautiful beaches, warm weather, and year-round outdoor activities.Located near Jupiter, known for its coastal charm, boating, and golf courses.Approximately 30 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport, providing convenient travel access.The area is affluent with excellent schools, upscale communities, and strong healthcare infrastructure.Home to Major League Baseball Spring Training, plus a wide range of dining, entertainment, and cultural options.
