Permanent Nocturnist Hospitalist - Kenansville, North Carolina Position Type Permanent
Role: Nocturnist Hospitalist
Specialty: Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
Status: BE/BC required
Location Highlights Kenansville, NC (Eastern North Carolina)
Approximately 45 minutes from Wilmington, NC
Close to North Carolina beaches and Raleigh

Schedule & Availability (Key Screening Info) Shift Length: 14-hour nocturnist shifts
Schedule Options: 3 shifts per week, or
6 shifts every other week
Average Nightly Admissions: 6
ICU Coverage: Open ICU (9 beds)
Clinical Scope Hospitalist nocturnist coverage
Open ICU with tele-intensivist support
ICU procedures include:Vent management
Lumbar puncture
Central lines
Specialty backup includes:General Surgery, Cardiology, ENT, Ortho
OB/GYN, GI, Nephrology, Ophthalmology
Sleep Medicine, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy
Program Overview 81-bed community hospital
Established Med-Peds hospitalist program:6 physicians
1 advanced practice provider
Fully integrated Epic EMR
Employment by Physicians
Part of a growing 9-hospital physician-led health system
Licensure & Certifications Board Certification: Internal Medicine or Med-Peds (BE/BC)
State License: North Carolina
EMR Experience: Epic preferred
