Lead Exceptional Patient Care in a Collaborative Rehabilitation Environment She Recruits is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a respected physician-led healthcare organization seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician or an Internal Medicine Physician with inpatient rehabilitation experience to serve as Medical Director of an established inpatient rehabilitation program in Lake City, Florida .

Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical management for inpatient rehabilitation patients.
Diagnose and manage medically complex rehabilitation patients.
Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine physicians, nursing, therapy, case management, and other clinical specialists.
Lead interdisciplinary care planning to maximize patient outcomes.
Oversee quality initiatives and support rehabilitation program excellence.
Complete timely and accurate documentation.
Foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on exceptional clinical outcomes.
Qualifications Required MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
OR
Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience
Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Eligible for Florida Controlled Substance Registration
Strong communication and leadership skills
