Job description
Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist
Location: WV
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Position Overview
Provide inpatient hospital medicine advanced practice coverage in a critical access hospital setting, with physician tele-coverage available 24 hours.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite NP/PA coverage for hospital medicine service, 7:00 AM-7:00 PMManage an average daily census of approximately 9 inpatient patientsCollaborate with physician tele-coverage available 24 hoursDocument care using Epic EMRRequired Qualifications
Graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner with certification as FNP, AGACNP, or ACNP; or licensure as a Physician AssistantActive West Virginia NP or PA licenseActive DEA registrationMinimum 2 years of hospital medicine experienceBLS certificationACLS certificationPractice Details
