UNC Health Medical Group in partnership with UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston, NC is seeking a Per Diem Hospitalist Physician to join the team.
Schedule: Per Diem, 7am-7pm (2 or more shifts a month)
EMR: EPIC
Requirements
Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency Trained
Open ICU
Must run codes
No required procedures Avg 14-17 pts per day, per Dr

Education Requirements:
Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Board Certified Internal Medicine
DEA;ACLS;MD
Professional Experience Requirements:
Prefer prior hospitalist experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
