Nocturnist opening in Morris, IL Located in Morris, IL - Joliet 30m; Naperville 45m; Chicago 60mFull-time; PermanentEmployedSeeking BC/BE Internal Medicine physicianNo J-1 or H-1B visa support Overview: 7 on / 7 off schedule 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts One Nocturnist in-house overnight Established Hospital Medicine program serving the community since 2009 Approximately 95% of inpatient admissions managed by the Hospitalist team Average of 4-5 admissions per night Open ICU with specialty consultation readily available Intubations and central lines preferred, but not required Daily multidisciplinary rounds Excellent nursing, case management, social work, and specialty support Dedicated Hospitalist coding support Meditech Expanse EMR with Dragon dictation Additional shifts available for physicians seeking extra compensation Comp/Benefits: $300,000-$320,000 base salary, depending on experience Quality incentives available from day one Additional compensation for voluntarily picking up extra shifts $20,000/year medical education loan repayment, if applicable PSLF-eligible employer Relocation assistance up to $8,000 $6,000 annual CME/general expense allowance 6 weeks PTO plus additional CME time Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 403(b) retirement plan with employer match 457(b) deferred compensation plan Physician Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (SERP) Paid malpractice insurance No tail coverage Group/Facility Info: Independent, not-for-profit community healthcare organization 89-bed acute-care hospital Serves more than 170,000 residents across 20 communities Medical staff includes more than 200 physicians and 45 APPs representing nearly 40 specialties Established Hospital Medicine program with strong multidisciplinary support Primary Stroke Certified and Level II Perinatal Care Provider Physician-friendly environment with approachable leadership and physician input One-hospital practice without multi-campus coverage About the Area: Morris offers an affordable, relaxed lifestyle approximately 55 miles southwest of downtown Chicago.
