Job description

Transform patient care and community as a Hospital Medicine Physician in Moses Lake, Washington

Our mission in Moses Lake is to provide "better" in every sense-better healthcare, better teamwork, and a lasting impact on the community we proudly serve. Ready to grow your career in a place that values community and collaboration? Let's talk.

Local Team Collaboration:

Join a collaborative care team and use your hospital medicine experience to advance high-quality, patient-centered care in a welcoming community.

Practice alongside five hospital medicine physicians committed to improving outcomes for the community we serve.

We are an integral part of the hospital and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and providing Emergency Medicine services in addition to Hospital Medicine.

Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.

Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.

Qualifications:

Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine. Family medicine can be considered with demonstrated hospitalist experience.

Ability to manage ICU patients without intensivist backup.

Procedural competency preferred.

Experience is preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.

We proudly sponsor J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.

Scheduling:

Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.

We understand the importance of spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. That's why we offer a flexible schedule that allows for work-life balance. Our team covers for each other when anyone is out, ensuring that you can enjoy time off without worry.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing inpatient care to a small, acute care hospital with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support.

Deliver exceptional care in a community-centered practice where your expertise helps shape better outcomes for the patients who need it most.

Manageable census and opportunity to practice with autonomy.

Candidates must be comfortable with vent management and responding to rapid responses and codes.

Living and Working in Moses Lake:

Moses Lake is known for its expansive lake and stunning desert landscapes. This Washington gem offers the peace of small-town living while remaining less than a half-day's drive from the larger cities of Spokane and Seattle.

Enjoy the vibrancy of outdoor adventures, whether boating, fishing, or enjoying the local arts scene. Moses Lake is where you can truly enjoy life.

Our patients always come first. We're a community-minded team and encourage our team members to contribute in and out of the hospital to help make our local community thrive.

Growth and development are at the core of Sound's medical practices, so we offer our clinicians opportunities and career advancement across the whole medical group.

Rewards and Compensation:

Annual compensation between $340,000 and $400,000 plus incentives depending on shift obligation.

Sign-on bonus of $30,000.

Relocation assistance provided.

Comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice, tail coverage, 401K with matching contributions, and annual CME allowance.
