Job description
Anchorage is in south-central Alaska. It is a modern city, complete with skyscrapers, a thriving business district and a bustling international airport. The location makes it easily accessible by air, land, and sea. Your CompHealth recruiter will be your advocate assisting you with contract negotiation, including pay, benefits, and incentives with insights into facilities and national market trends.
Flexible block scheduling: 7/7 or 14/14 block available
Day shift: 7 am - 7 pm; night coverage shared among hospitalists
Average census of 15 - 18 patients per shift
ICU covered by Intensivists 24/7; no procedures required
Team of approximately 6 hospitalists during the day plus Nocturnist coverage
W2 hospital-employed position with full benefits package
Epic EMR used throughout the facility
Board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Practice welcome
