nWe are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

nnnWe take pride in our well-established team at John Peter Smith of 37 physicians and five advanced practice providers (APPs), with the support of a clinical performance nurse and a practice manager.

nnnBoard-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.

n nScheduling:

nnnThis is a full-time nocturnist role.

nnFull-time positions follow a 7-nights-on, 7-nights-off rotation

n nKey Responsibilities:

nnnFocus on managing complex cases in a closed ICU environment with 24/7 intensivist coverage, without the expectation of performing procedures or running codes.

n

nnThe average census per nocturnist is 10-11 admits per night. You will have an APP taking the cross coverage call at night.

nnEMR is EPIC.

nnNocturnist's yearly base compensation is $313, 900.

nnEligible for both PPI and PQI bonuses.
