nLocal Team Collaboration:

nnnJoin our close-knit team of 30 physicians and six advanced practice providers (APPs) at Via Christi St. Francis.

n

nnThe 360-bed hospital is an open ICU with intensivist support.

n

nnWork alongside clinicians from diverse backgrounds and experience levels who collaborate effectively and enjoy spending time together professionally and socially.

n

nnOur day-to-day culture fosters a team atmosphere in a large, shared office space supported by a multidisciplinary patient care model.

n

nnWe prioritize open communication, involving team members in decisions and encouraging them to champion projects that improve care, such as updating order sets.

n

nnMany clinicians serve on hospital committees, including the medical executive committee, strengthening relationships with specialists and our supportive administration. At the core of everything we do is a commitment to a strong work ethic, honesty, and patient safety.

n nQualifications:

nnnBoard-certified/eligible internal medicine or family medicine physicians.

n

nnJ1 candidates invited to apply; access to Sound's in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and credentialing experts; all required filing fees for the visa are paid and services covered

n nKey Responsibilities:

nnnNo procedures required.

n

nn24/7 critical care coverage.

n

nnIndependent Code Blue and rapid response teams 24/7.

n

nnStroke code teams 24/7.

n

nnLarge nocturnist team each night: three physicians and one APP.

n

nnLevel 1 Trauma Center.

n

nnComprehensive Stroke Center.

n

nnAdvanced structural heart program.

n

nn24/7 PICC line/central line team.

n

nnManage a wide variety of cases at a large community-based hospital, including admissions and cross-coverage, with the support of a robust multispecialty team.

n

nnWe leverage our advanced resources and specialist availability to provide care for patients transferred from smaller rural hospitals requiring a higher level of expertise.

n

nnCollaborate closely with residents, contributing to a teaching and mentorship environment.

n

nnWork in coordination with an intensivist team that handles all procedures, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical decision-making.

n

nnUtilize Cerner with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
