Locums - Okeechobee, Florida Hospitalist Opening
Clinical Role
Provide Hospitalist coverage for a 6-month assignment managing bread-and-butter Internal Medicine cases within a rural, community-based patient population. New graduates are welcome.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Clinical Details
100-bed hospitalAverage census: 50 patientsApproximately 12 admissions dailyOpen ICUProcedures and ventilator management required with Pulmonology and Cardiology supportProviders may perform additional procedures if appropriately signed offNo traumaOutpatient follow-up with community providersNursing, Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Lab, and additional support availableOrientation typically 4-8 hours Requirements
