Job Details Position: Hospitalist Physician Employment Type: Locum tenens Location: Ravenna, Ohio 44266 Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: September 21, 2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $4,330 - $4,640 Setting: Inpatient hospital medicine Job Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible physician with hospitalist experience At least 1 year of recent inpatient, hospital medicine, or acute care experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing complex adult inpatients Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts in a collaborative care environment Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care Willingness to support continuity of care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams Responsibilities Provide comprehensive hospitalist coverage for adult inpatient care Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions Perform admissions, daily rounds, and follow-up assessments as needed Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging results Document patient encounters thoroughly and maintain high standards of clinical care Coordinate discharge planning and ensure safe transitions of care Apply now to explore this locum tenens Hospitalist Physician opportunity in Ravenna, Ohio, and join a team committed to exceptional inpatient care.
