Job description
Locums Hospitalist coverage in Michigan with multiple site options, including Midland and several regional hospitals. Inpatient rounding, admitting, and night coverage are available, with 3 to 4 day stretches preferred and no procedures required.

Practice Setting
Inpatient adult Hospital Medicine coverage
Midland, 325 beds; closed ICU with intensivist available 24/7; average census around 20 patients each
Alma, 80 beds; open ICU with pulmonologist available 24/7; average 15 to 18 patients per provider
Tawas, 47 bed acute inpatient facility; patients split between med med surg and a CCU step down; ED runs codes after midnight
Schedule
3 to 4 day stretches preferred
Mix of rounding, admitting, and nights depending on site need
Tawas includes 7a to 7p coverage with on call at night
Orientation required, 1 business day before start
Requirements
Must be an MD or DO
Michigan license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only, open to IMLC Physicians
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospital Medicine CAQ
ACLS and ACGME approved residency required; 50 inpatient logs within the last 12 months required for verification
