Take the next step in your career as a Hospitalist Physician in Vancouver, Washington

We believe in bringing "better" to our local community in Vancouver: better care, better collaboration, and a deep commitment to the people we serve. If you're looking for a role that supports your professional growth and your connection to a vibrant community, we'd love to talk.

Local Team Collaboration

Join our team of 25 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center.

Work alongside medical directors, clinical performance nurses, and a program manager.

Qualifications

Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained physicians are welcome to apply.

Open to experienced or new grad physicians with availability to commence practice prior to summer 2027; we are not yet considering 2027 residents for this role.

Scheduling

We offer a standard 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Our hospital has a closed ICU with 24/7 intensivist support, and we don't require procedures or codes.

Opportunity to work with Family Medicine residents.

Living and Working In Vancouver

With its scenic parks, easy access to the Columbia River, and vibrant downtown, Vancouver offers a welcoming community and plenty of outdoor opportunities. Whether you're exploring local trails, enjoying cultural events, or relaxing in a family-friendly neighborhood, Vancouver is a place where you can truly call home.

We're a community-minded team and encourage contributions within and outside the hospital to make our local community thrive. We have partnered with a Free Clinic where some of our colleagues have volunteered their time to assist the less fortunate.

Competitive yearly salary in the range of $288,000, depending on experience and shift obligation.
