Job description
SageWest Health Care is actively recruiting an experienced Hospitalist to join our established open ICU group along with great support, a welcoming community, and a flexible scheduling for work/life balance. Combined, our Lander and Riverton facilities offer a total of 133 beds, providing comprehensive medical services to the communities for a population of over 40,000 in Fremont County, Wyoming, including 24/7 Hospitalist and emergency care, surgery, women s health, and advanced diagnostics, committed to quality, safety, and community wellness.
About The Position
10 shifts/month (24-hour shifts) - 10 site/14 unrestricted call
Procedures include: central lines, intubations, thoras, paras, arterial lines; possible chest tubes
Shift requirement can be averaged over the entire year to allow for flexibility
Opportunity to pick up extra shifts at the same shift rate
Qualifications
BE/BC in Internal Medicine
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority
Must be willing and able to reside in the communities to allow for flexibility in scheduling
Ability to manage chest tubes strongly preferred
At least one year of experience highly desirable
