n$207,000 - $266,999 a year
nDescription
nThe Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine is seeking a Hospitalist. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to a combination of patient care, teaching, quality improvement, and/or community service activities.
nWill provide care to hospitalized patients on the Hospital Medicine Service as the attending of record, and to patients on other services as a Consultant. Teaching of medical students and residents is expected in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Research activities will enhance your academic career and the academic and clinical excellence of our hospital and the Department of Medicine.
nQualifications
nM.D. Degree or equivalent
nMust obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
nEligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
nMust meet all credentialing requirements
nEligible for Board Certification in Internal Medicine
nPost offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
nCompliance with University and New York State health requirements

nThe referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
