Job description
Host
Black Rock Bar & Grill is an award-winning steakhouse built around an unforgettable dining experience. Guests cook their Certified Angus Beef® steaks on a 755-degree volcanic sizzling rock, ensuring every bite is hot, juicy, and crafted exactly the way they like it. We take pride in delivering exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and an energetic atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
Hosts at Black Rock Bar & Grill set the tone for the entire dining experience. You are the first friendly face our guests see and the welcoming voice they hear when they call. Whether you're greeting guests at the door, answering questions over the phone, or coordinating priority seating, you create the warm, energetic first impression that defines our brand.
This role is fast-paced, guest-focused, and essential to smooth operations. You'll manage the flow of the dining room, communicate wait times clearly, and work closely with the service team to ensure every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
As a Host, you introduce guests to the Black Rock experience before they even sit down. You'll welcome them with genuine hospitality, explain our unique sizzling-rock concept when needed, and help set expectations for their visit. Your ability to stay organized, upbeat, and attentive helps create the excitement and energy that make Black Rock memorable. Guests may come for the food—but their experience starts with you.

• Team-first attitude — You work closely with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure seamless service.
• Calm under pressure — You stay upbeat and composed during busy shifts.
