Ricci Italian Restaurant in Frederick, MD is looking for a warm, welcoming Host to be the first face our guests see when they walk through the door. This is your chance to set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience in a vibrant Italian restaurant setting. Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant‘s seating system
Escort guests to their tables and present menus
Monitor dining room flow and communicate wait times accurately
Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries
Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table turnover
Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
Requirements:
Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay composed in a busy restaurant environment
Professional appearance and positive, guest-first attitude
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic computer or reservation software skills a plus
