Here is an opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s life – become a Foster Care / Host Home Provider ! This is a chance to help make a difference by opening your home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual. We are looking for someone in the San Antonio, TX area! We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED
Valid Driver's License
Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
Must be open to supervisory visits in your home
Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
