Join The Team At Sea Level Restaurant – Now Hiring Hosts/Hostesses!
Shade Hotel, Redondo Beach
Located right on the King Harbor marina, Sea Level Restaurant at Shade Hotel Redondo Beach is the go-to destination for elevated coastal dining in the South Bay. With fresh California cuisine, 24 beers on tap, craft cocktails, and a stunning marina view, we offer a vibrant, laid-back, yet sophisticated dining experience with indoor/outdoor seating for over 200 guests. Think beach casual meets modern elegance—cool, comfortable, and always inviting.
We're currently looking for a year round friendly, polished, and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team! This is your chance to be part of a high-energy, high-volume restaurant at one of the South Bay's most desirable summer hotspots.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a full-service, upscale restaurant
A positive, team-first attitude and a passion for making people feel welcome
Weekend availability and schedule flexibility
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with guests
An interest in growing with us—whether that's staying in the role or moving into management
What You'll Do:
Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
Manage waitlists and estimate wait times accurately
Answer phone calls and handle reservations (OpenTable experience is a plus!)
Help coordinate table layouts for large parties
Assist with clearing tables and supporting your teammates on the floor
Maintain a composed, upbeat attitude during busy shifts
