nAbout the Role :
nThe Cashier/Host is responsible for greeting and escorting guests to tables in the restaurant, handling all cash and charge transactions, taking phone calls and maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction.
nWhat You'll Do:
nnGreet and seat guest in a friendly, courteous, professional, and timely manner.
nHandle all cash and charge transactions and the ringing up of all food and/or beverage chits.
nHandles the ordering of Special Amenities with garde manger and assigns the delivery.
nTakes and reconfirms reservations from guests and informs the Chef and kitchen of large or special reservations.

nWhat You Bring:
nnHigh school diploma or equivalent
nMinimum 1 year of cash handling experience
nMust be available to work weekends and holidays as business needs require.
nAbility to efficiently deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
nAbility to operate a keyboard and point-of-sale procedures to pre-check order and settle checks.
nKnowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items.
nMust have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnMinimum 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
