Salary Range:
$60,000 – $80,000 annually + Bonus Opportunity

About The Role
Ascent Hospitality is seeking an energetic, strategic, and results-driven Area Director of Sales to lead sales efforts for our three Gulfport, MS hotels: Hampton Inn, SpringHill Suites, and Home2 Suites.
This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship builder and sales leader who can develop new business, strengthen key accounts, increase group and corporate demand, and drive revenue across multiple properties.

What You Will Do
Lead and execute sales strategies across all three Gulfport properties.
Drive new business, group, corporate, and local market accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, businesses, meeting planners, and community partners.
Conduct sales calls, client visits, networking, site tours, and community outreach.
Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline with consistent follow-up.
Identify market opportunities and stay informed on local competition and trends.
Collaborate closely with General Managers and hotel teams to achieve revenue goals.
Promote hotel services, group accommodations, meeting space, and special offers.
Track sales activities, account production, and results.
Represent Ascent Hospitality professionally throughout the Gulfport community.
What We Are Looking For
Previous hotel sales, hospitality, or business development experience preferred.
Sales leadership experience with a proven ability to generate new business.
Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.
Knowledge of the Gulfport/Biloxi market is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales/CRM systems preferred.
Ability to travel locally between properties and attend client meetings and networking events.
