Room AttendantSummary/Objective To perform a combination of tasks which maintains the hotel guest room in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive experienceEssential FunctionsProvides professional and courteous service at all times.Clean rooms upon requestHandle and complete all guests' requests immediately.Disinfect the entire bathroom including toilet, ensure the entire bathroom is free of hairCollects soiled linens for laundering, maintain linen supplies in appropriate locationsVacuum, mop, sweep guest room floor and hallwaysMaintain and keep an organized cart properly stocked and free of trashClean all stay overs, and checkout rooms in the allotted time for your propertyRemove all trash and place in dumpster, stock cart for the next person, empty vacuum dailyComplete maintenance ticket for any items not working in the room or including safety concernsEnsure the safety of our guest's property assets; never open door for guest's who forgot their key (redirect them back to the front desk)CompetenciesCustomer/Client Focus.Stress Management/Composure.Thoroughness.Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities, and reports to housekeeping supervisor.Work Environment This job operates in a hotel environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as vacuum, mop, broom, chemical, and Ozone machine.Physical Demands the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms able to lift 20lbs.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work this is a full-time or part-time position, regularly requiring long hours and frequent weekend work.
