Job description
Housekeeper / Room AttendantWe're looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team!Clean guest rooms and public areas throughout the Hotel. Provide excellent service and quality to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where guests can relax.Responsibilities:Clean assigned areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and moreRemove soiled linens, towels, and trash from guest roomsMake beds, replenish amenities, mop/vacuum floors, and clean all surfaces and furniture in guest roomsMonitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areasFollow all cleaning procedures and best practicesProvide friendly and kind service to all guestsAssist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficientlyQualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldCommunicate effectively in English and work well in a team environmentMust practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniformPreferred: Housekeeping or laundry experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, hotel operations, healthcare)Physical Requirements:Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shiftPushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shiftMust handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectantsMust be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
