Job description
Oncology Nursing Supervisor RNThe Supervisor Clinical Operations Oncology RN is responsible for supervising the clinical staff and clinical operations of the Oncology department by performing the following duties personally or through assigned personnel. The Supervisor is expected to manage the overall unit for budget management, scheduling, payroll, overall safety of the unit, policies/procedures are accurate and complete, and appropriate staffing levels. Although not a staff nurse, will be expected to step into direct patient care if urgent need arises.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's of Science in Nursing - preferredMaster's Degree Master's of Science in Nursing - preferredExperience: 3 years people project or operations supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare and/or medical office setting. - minimum5 years strongly preferred Oncology. - preferredLicenses and Certifications: RN State License - Upon Hire minimumRegistered Nurse CA StateBasic Life Support (BLS) - Upon Hire minimumAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS) - Upon Hire minimumAbout Us:Cedars-Sinai is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare encompassing primary care, specialized medicine, and research.
