Housekeeper Position at Moxy Hotel & Residence Inn Portland Thompson's Point
Join the team at Moxy Hotel & Residence Inn Portland Thompson's Point, a brand-new dual-branded Marriott hotel bringing fresh energy, style, and hospitality to one of Portland's most exciting waterfront destinations, newly opened in July Summer 2026. As home to the first Moxy hotel in Northern New England, this is a chance to be part of something new from the beginning — welcoming guests to a vibrant stay steps from Thompson's Point's concerts, events, dining, and culture.
We're looking for motivated, friendly, and detail-driven Housekeepers to help bring a brand-new hotel experience to life. In this role, you won't just clean rooms—you'll create a welcoming, comfortable space that makes every guest feel at home.

What You'll Do
As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in shaping each guest's experience. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness set the standard for the entire hotel.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and prioritizing assigned rooms to meet daily goals
Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining guest rooms to brand standards
Creating a fresh, inviting space by making beds, replenishing linens, and restocking amenities
Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and guest areas
Vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and ensuring every detail is just right
Responding promptly and courteously to guest and team requests
Respecting guest privacy and following proper room entry procedures
Managing your cleaning cart and supplies efficiently throughout your shift
Reporting maintenance needs to keep rooms in top condition
Completing a final inspection to ensure every room is guest-ready
Assisting with laundry operations as needed
Handling lost and found items with care and integrity
What You Bring
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (hotel experience a plus)
A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to high standards
The ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
Strong time management and organizational skills
A respectful, discreet approach to guest privacy
A positive attitude and friendly approach when interacting with guests
The ability to work independently and stay motivated
Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
