HousekeeperPMC-Lynchburg Corps - LYNCHBURG, VA 24501 Start Date 10/08/2026 End Date 10/22/2026OverviewCategory PropertyDescriptionABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYSchedule/Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-2:00pmPay Class: Full time (28 hours)Pay: $14.25-$14.50This position is responsible for :Performs a variety of housekeeping duties in a shelter setting to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Cleans bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas; collects, washes, stores, and distributes linens; ensures the overall neatness and cleanliness of the shelter on a daily basis; and supports general facility upkeep.Key Responsibilities:Maintain clean and sanitary living spacesPerform laundry and linen managementEnsure facility upkeep and safetyMonitor and report maintenance needsSupport overall shelter operationsPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull heavy (over 50 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment frequently. Heavy mobility duties are usually performed by combinations of standing, walking, climbing ladders or steps, bending, reaching, or transporting materials on a frequent basis, relieved by fewer periods of sitting.QualificationsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOUHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.
