Housekeeping Room AttendantCompensation: Up to $17.50, Full-TimeAt The Wildbirch Hotel, our Housekeeping Room Attendants play a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. They are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every space is fresh, tidy, and inviting. The role involves meticulous attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently and independently. Housekeeping Room Attendants ensure that each guest experiences a serene and well-kept environment throughout their stay in Anchorage, contributing to the overall exceptional guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAbility to walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift while cleaning and servicing guest rooms and perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects.Strip beds, remove soiled linen, terry and trash from guestrooms and take to the appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.Check under beds and sofas for debris, clean bedroom/closet area, and make beds in the prescribed manner.Vacuum, sweep and mop floors to ensure guest room areas, balconies and hallways are free from debrisDust furniture/lamps/headboards/pictures/planters/chimney/chimney floor, clean kitchen counters/cabinets/drawers/refrigerators in the prescribed manner.Clean bathroom counters, floors, showers/tub in the prescribed manner.Report any missing/found articles, damage or maintenance problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor.Receive assigned section, keys, supplies and any priority requests from the Housekeeping Supervisor.Respond at all times, in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner to guests, managers and fellow associates. Report all guest issues and complaints to management.Adapt to workload based on hotel occupancy.Multitask, organize and prioritize tasks on an hourly and daily basis.Work well with others in a team environment.Work well under time constraint- clear thinking and remaining calm.Perform job duties with attention to detail, speed and efficiency.Follow directions effectively.Work with minimal supervision.Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel informationExperiencePrior Experience: 1+ experience in hospitality preferred or equivalent establishment (required)Education: High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.Other ExpectationsAbide by payroll policies, procedures and rules of conduct as stated in the Associate Handbook.Demonstrate a working knowledge of all company safety and security procedures.Hours Required: Must primarily work 8am-4pm while understanding that the hotel business functions 24/7 and some weekend or holiday work will be required.Must be able to pass drug test and background screening.BenefitsThe Wildbirch Hotel offers an empowered working environment with excellent benefits for eligible employees, including:Competitive payPTO (Paid Time Off)Medical, Dental, Vision, Life InsuranceEmployee discounts and perksCareer development and education assistanceWhy Work at The Wildbirch Hotel?
