This position helps ensure a comfortable and sanitary environment where our residents can thrive and feel at home.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, including resident areas, common spaces, and grounds.Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures.Replenish restroom and housekeeping supplies as needed.Remove trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.Operate and maintain housekeeping and janitorial equipment safely and effectively.Report maintenance concerns, repairs, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Prior housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.Experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting is a plus.Skills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service.Why Join Arlington Gardens Care Center?Competitive pay: $17.48 - $18.50 per hour DOEFull-time opportunitySupportive team environmentMeaningful work serving seniors and their familiesCareer growth opportunities within a growing healthcare organizationWe are an equal opportunity employer.
