HousekeeperIn the role of Housekeeper you will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Department by performing tasks to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of residential units and common areas within the Academy Mapleton Hill community (AMH).Depending on the availability of the candidate and needs at the time of application, could be part-time or full-time.Some benefits require full-time status:Employee Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance401(k) MatchingHoliday PayPaid Time OffLife InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability InsuranceResponsibilities:Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areasAccountable for all aspects of cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundryFollows Academy Mapleton Hill protocol for cleaningWorks with a team of housekeeping and maintenance staff to complete projects and tasksCommunicates with supervisor and other staff regarding equipment status and malfunctionsPerforms basic repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing lightbulbs or unclogging drainsCollaborates with other departments to ensure smooth operation of facilityMaintains the organization and inventory of supplies and restocking as neededFollowing all health and safety protocols, including proper cleaning and disinfecting proceduresResponding to requests and concerns from residents, employees and guestsAdheres to a schedule of regular cleaning and maintenance tasksQualifications:Exceptional level of professionalism, adherence to rules of confidentiality and standards of customer serviceExcellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to build effective work relationships at all levels, influence behavior, and lead changeAn enthusiastic team playerHonesty, integrity, sense of humor, and pleasant demeanor – ability to stay calm under pressureEmpathy toward the elderly and to geriatric issues and challenges
