Housekeeper, Part TimeJensen's Marina on Captiva IslandWe are looking for a part time thorough housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities Jensen's Marina on Captiva Island. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resortsResponsibilitiesClean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limitsDeliver excellent customer serviceCreate daily job lists and record all serviced roomsMaintain equipment in good conditionReport on any shortages, damages or security issuesHandle reasonable guests' complaints/requests and inform others when requiredCheck stocking levels of all consumablesComply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing lawsSkillsProven working experience in relevant fieldAbility to work independently and remain motivatedHelpful with customer service orientationPrioritization and time management skillsProfessionalism along with speed and attention to detailKnowledge of English languageHigh school degreeA detail-oriented personAbility to work on your feet for up to 8 hoursAbility to have a flexible schedule as some days we may not have any cleans. Being able to change days per week is crucial.Able to lift up to 50lbsAbility to communicate regularly to manager about supplies and potential improvementsAble to work without direct supervision. Heavier days may require you to be alone for several hoursBe somewhat familiar with different chemicals and house to operate laundry equipment. I.E- Not using bleach on treated wooden surfaces; being able to know what chemicals and products to use for whatAble to follow directions. If given a task by the lead housekeeper, be able to complete a task at any given moment even if it means dropping what you're currently doingBe familiar with household cleanliness. All of our units are furnished apartments / cottages.
