Our extensive array of community-based services are fully integrated, bilingual and culturally competent.A housekeeper is a person who provides professional services in cleaning. In either domestic or commercial service. They will perform basic upkeep. They are responsible for making sure all assigned areas of the establishment are clean, neat and tidy. Salary is $18.68 hourly/$34,000 annually.Key Essential FunctionsReceives and follows cleaning schedulesIdentifies and uses proper cleaning equipment, cleaning solutions, and utility cartCleans washes, sanitizes and/or polishes furnishings, mirrors, room or bathroom fixtures appliances, cabinets, heating/cooling system, etcUses any combination of the following: cleaning, sanitizing, dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, damp/wet moppingUses proper cleaning techniques for floors; sweep, dust, damp/wet mop, or vacuumRemoves dirt, dust, grease and film from all surfaces using proper cleaning or disinfecting solutionDisposes of waste/trash (recyclable, regulated, regular medical) into proper containerRemoves and replaces plastic liners from trash can when necessaryReplaces or replenishes necessary supplies in assigned work areas, such as toilet tissue, paper towels, soap, trashcan liners, etcPerforms terminal cleaning in preparation for new occupancyFollows all cleaning or sanitation procedures in isolation rooms/areas in accordance with infection control policies and proceduresPerforms duties in an orderly and safe meaner, using proper signs and equipment safety procedures to prevent accidentsRemoves dirt, dust, grease and film from all surfaces using proper cleaning or disinfecting solutionDisposes of waste/trash (recyclable, regulated, regular medical) into proper container and place containers in proper location for city/town refuse pick-upPerforms duties in an orderly and safe manner, using proper signs and equipment safety procedures to prevent accidentsTasks may be modified, expanded and/or assigned over timeOther duties in housekeeping within the scope and nature of the position as requested.RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GED, requiredAt least a year of maintenance/cleaning experienceWhy Join Us?Acacia Network provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to our employees.
