Job PostingWe ranked in the top 10% of hospitals in Indiana for cleanliness, all due to our outstanding housekeeping staff! Responsible for transporting items to off-site laboratory service. Ensures an attractive and sanitary environment throughout the entire facility by performing cleaning duties. Performs tasks like: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning sinks, commodes, showers, mirrors, countertops, faucets, handles, showers, shower seats; after dismissal of patient, promptly preparing the room for the next patient; performing normal cleaning procedures and additionally, washes bed and mattresses; may remake bed after cleaning.RequirementsEffectively read, write and speak in the English languageSix (6) months housekeeping experienceValid drivers license and an acceptable insurable driving record for transport dutiesHigh School Diploma or General Education DegreeOne (1) year or more recent healthcare housekeeping experienceBenefitsFulltime employees receive: health, dental, and vision insurance (company pays 90% of the employee's coverage premium); free short-term and long-term disability and life insurance; paid time off (PTO) and extended illness benefit (EIB); eligibility for 401k retirement savings plan with company match.
