Job description
Cleaning PositionPerform cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Reports to Supervisor.ResponsibilitiesSweeps, mops, and polishes floors.Vacuums and spot cleans carpets.Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust mops floors.Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility room and bathrooms.Cleans fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, rest rooms, etc.Stocks supplies in rest rooms as needed.Removes solid linens, trash, bio-hazard from collection areas.Notifies supervisor regarding needed repairs: submits supply order sheers on a weekly basis.Gathers and disposes trash and waste materials.Assists and performs Laundry Tech Linen Handler functions as needed.Assists and performs Utility Tech functions as needed.Participates in educational programs and in-services.Attends meetings as required.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Performs routine and repetitive tasks from detailed written instructions.Attention to detail of work routine required.
