We offer excellent full time benefits package including medical, dental, vision, Sec.125 plan, retirement plan, employee assistance plan and more.We are a Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) Employer.Role: Housekeeper/Direct Care SupportTerm: Full-time/permanentLocation: Onsite in Fredonia, NYWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4pmCompensation: starting at $16.73 Per Hour with excellent growth potentialBenefits: We offer paid-time off, paid holidays, affordable medical/dental/vision, 403b retirement plan, profit sharing plan and much more!*Candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check through the NYS Department of Health.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and office spacesPerform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and waste disposalEnsure compliance with health, safety, and infection control standardsMonitor and restock cleaning supplies and household inventoryInteract respectfully and compassionately with residents, supporting a therapeutic and recovery-oriented environmentDirect Care Support (Backup Role)Provide coverage and support to Direct Care Attendants during staffing needs or high-demand periodsAssist with supervision of residents and ensure safety within the facilityProvide coverage with scheduling, executing and following up on all resident psychiatric and medical appointments as well as assisting residents with personal care as needed.Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed (e.g., laundry, light housekeeping guidance, organization).Medication Support (if trained and authorized)Assist with medication administration in accordance with facility policies and state regulationsMaintain accurate documentation of medication support activitiesEnsure proper storage and handling of medicationsQualificationsMust be at least 18 years old and possess a High school diploma or equivalentPrevious housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or residential settingsExperience working with individuals with mental health conditions is a plusAbility to complete required training in medication administration (if applicable)Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundariesKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesUnderstanding of basic cleaning techniques and infection control practicesCompassionate, patient, and respectful approach to working with vulnerable populationsWorking ConditionsWork is performed in a residential mental healthcare settingMay require standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive physical tasksMay involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and bodily fluids (with proper PPE provided)Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25–50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periodsEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERSTEL, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE.)
