HousekeeperValiant Residential is seeking a Housekeeper who will be responsible for cleaning vacant units in preparation for marketing and occupancy and property common areas, offices, and models' units. With career development opportunities, a collaborative culture, and a commitment to innovation, we empower our employees to thrive.What You'll Be DoingCleans the property business office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, and property common areas on a defined schedule.Cleans vacant apartment units in preparation for showing and occupancy.Report any maintenance problems to the supervisor.Assists with inventory control.Performs job duties using safety guidelines and reports obstacles to doing so.Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures.Make ready units for new move-ins. Check appliances and inform Lead Maintenance of problems.Make keys when necessary.Inspect bathroom tiles and perform minor repairs and replacements.Change A/C filters.Operate carpet cleaning equipment to clean carpetsLend assistance during trash-out of the apartment, e.g., moving heavy/bulky items to the dumpster.RequirementsWillingness to perform all required tasks.Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits.Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders. Bilingual in Spanish is a plusAbility to professionally represent the company.Maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.Able to work on call (as necessary and/or an emergency arises) and extended hours (including after-hours and weekends).Ability to organize & prioritize work.Social skills in order to interact with residents.Physical Requirements:Must be able to sit, stand, climb, and stoop for up to 8 hours or more if needed.Must be able to walk the property for up to 8 hours (or more) in various weather conditions.Must be able to climb stairsMust be able to lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.If you have a Valiant Spirit—bold, driven, and ready to make an impact—we want you on our team.Valiant Residential does not accept unsolicited resumes or candidate submissions from staffing agencies or third-party recruiters for any posted positions.
