This position supports a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by providing routine cleaning of resident rooms and common spaces, along with special projects as needed. It's well-suited for someone who values clear expectations, a steady rhythm to the day, and contributing to a respectful, team-oriented workplace while following all applicable safety and sanitation standards.Schedule details:Shift: First shift availableFull-time, working 32 hours per week, working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.Every 8th Saturday for a 4-hour shiftHoliday rotation required: One per yearWhat this role looks like day to day:Ability to work diligently around residents rooms and personal belongings.Keep necessary supplies stocked and organized.Work closely with other departments in the scheduling of cleanings.Work with cleaning chemicals and supplies.Organize and manage stock of supplies.What we value in team members:Reliability — showing up prepared and following through on commitmentsWillingness to receive direction and work within clear standardsRespect for coworkers, residents, and the purpose behind the workPay & work environment:Starting at $15/hour, with higher rates considered based on experienceConsistent, set shift hoursEAP and Chaplain services providedLeadership that values honesty, follow through, and care for peopleA workplace where accountability and support go hand in handMeaningful work that contributes to the daily experience of senior adultsRetirement 403b plan where Sunset will match up to 5%Requirements:Someone who wants to make a difference and willingness to learn!Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
