Job description
Housekeeping StaffPosition Purpose: Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the PACE Program while adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.Key Responsibilities:Clean and maintain assigned areas per housekeeping policies and proceduresEnsure adequate supplies; request, transport, and store items properlyFollow safety protocols, including proper handling of biohazard materialsMaintain secure, organized storage areasPromote a respectful, calm environment for participants, visitors, and staffFollow assigned schedules and collaborate with team membersParticipate in required trainings and uphold compliance, confidentiality, and ethical standardsAssist other departments and respond appropriately during emergenciesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required1+ year experience with elderly/frail populations preferredStrong teamwork, adaptability, and customer service skillsAbility to work independently with sound judgmentPhysical & Work Requirements (Summary):Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 20 lbs.)Ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environmentsAdequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform tasksComfortable working indoors with physical activity throughout the dayCore Competencies: Detail-oriented, dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and care.Position Highlights and Benefits:Day-1 Benefits (Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance plans).Opportunity to get paid daily – through DailyPayPaid holidays and generous Paid Time Off (PTO)Up to $4,000 in tuition reimbursement annuallyDiscounts with major vendors; AT&T, Verizon, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Quicken Loans.Ministry/Facility Information: PACE of Montgomery County, a part of Trinity Health PACE, provides high-quality, comprehensive care to seniors in the community.
