HousekeeperOtterbein has an employment opportunity for a Housekeeper. The Housekeepers provide a clean, safe environment for residents, guests and employees. They enhance the lives and nurture the growth of older persons by providing high quality service in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating, coordinating and cooperating with others to attain goals. Come be a part of a wonderful team that takes pride in serving our senior residents!Starting rate: $15.50Positions: Full Time 8a-4:30p, 40 hours per week, Part Time 8a-4:30p, 24 hours per week, both have 1 Saturday every 5th Sat and 1 holiday a yearResponsibilities:Cleans furnishings, fixtures, ledges, windows, heating/cooling units, etc. by washing, dusting, or polishing as scheduled or assignedCleans floors by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping or damp/wet mopping as scheduled or assignedEmpties trash, cleans trash receptacles and transports trash to proper areaReports burned out light bulbs, broken or defective equipment, other maintenance concerns, pest control problems and other unsafe or unsanitary conditions to supervisorInteracts positively with residents, family members, guests and personnelFollows all established policies, procedures and regulations to assure that quality resident care is maintainedCommunicates, coordinates and cooperates with other team membersMaintains resident rights and confidentialityQualifications:Education: High School diploma or equivalentExperience: Previous Housekeeping and/or Laundry experience in long term care preferred; positive attitudeBenefits:Medical insurance with free virtual doctor visitsVision and dental insurancePaid Time off that accrues immediatelyPaid HolidaysLife insuranceRetirements Savings with a 401(k) or 403(b) with company matchAccess up to 100% of your net earned based wages daily through DailyPayEmployee sponsored fund for employees in needEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition Assistance*Some benefits are based on hours workedWhy work for Otterbein SeniorLife:For more than 100 years, Otterbein has provided senior housing options rooted in respect and community.
