Housekeeping AttendantMaintain The Padre Hotel standards of cleanliness in an efficient professional manner and contribute to an excellent guest experience.Rate of Pay $16.90 per hourExample of Duties (Essential Functions)Cleaning of public restrooms to include toilets, urinals, floors and replacing of paper products and soapMaintain general lobby and public areas cleanliness to include but not limited to: animal / human waste, sifting ashtrays and mopping spillsPower-washing of walkway and alleyway areasSetup and take down of all outdoor common area tables and chairs including umbrellasClean and maintain all public venues, including Prospect Lounge, Brimstone Bar, Farmacy Café, Prairie Fire, Belvedere Dining Room, and all banquet roomsMaintain order and cleanliness of the lobby, restaurants, tool and supply storage, and break areas.Proper use and storage of supplies and toolsMay use and be accountable for equipment such as a power scrubber / washer, vacuum, toilet plunger, toilet snake, cardboard compactor, radios and gas-powered blowerEnsure that special requests for cleanliness, maintenance and appearance of the hotel, administrative areas, and restaurants are met.Dusting all public areas on a regular basisAny maintenance to be reported to head housekeeper or supervisorEnsure gym is clean and restocked with Padre water and clean towelsEnsure all tiled floors are cleaned on a daily basis and carpet and carpet in public areas space is vacuumed.Ensure customer experience meets or exceeds expectations. Handle customers' concerns and requests with a positive attitude.Sweeping, Mopping, and assisting in allNotify supervisor if any items are in low inventoryUphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.Ensures the proper maintenance of all departed related equipmentOther duties may be assigned by the housekeeping supervisor, Hotel Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager and/or General ManagerDue to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.Supportive FunctionsIn addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.Work with other divisions and areas of the park to ensure that the customers' overall property experience meets or exceeds expectations and standards.Flexible availability is required for this position (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)Bakersfield's best hotel, Padre Hotel, first opened its doors in 1928 and today is Bakersfield's only 4-Diamond Hotel.
