Housekeeper PositionAs a Housekeeper at our Assisted Living Facility, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces. Your attention to detail, organization, and dedication to cleanliness will contribute to the well-being of and satisfaction of our residents. This position will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor.In addition to all components of the above position summary the following "Essential Duties and Responsibilities" are essential to successful performance in this position:Clean and sanitize resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing bed linens.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas such as lounges, dining areas, hallways, and restrooms.Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as emptying trash bins, cleaning windows, and polishing surfaces.Follow established protocols and safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel promptly.Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures to maintain a hygienic environment.Assist in monitoring and replenishing housekeeping supplies, including toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.Uphold the privacy and confidentiality of residents' personal belongings and information.Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.May need to move furniture to ensure cleanliness of designated areas.Support with additional duties as needed.The incumbent in this position does not have any direct supervision.To perform this position successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
